This position reports to

Service Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, repair and servicing of Electrification products and systems, with a capability of Commissioning third party as well as ABB relays, and able to support L.V Commissioning activities either immediately or with future training.

Work model: onsite #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Service Division in UK with nationwide travel to customer and ABB Sites. Main stakeholders are the wider service team, customers and ABB manufacturing facilities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Undertake Commissioning duties for the customer site-based element of the EL service offering.
  • To ensure that all relevant test and service documentation is completed at the end of the project and supplied to the Project Manager for each project.
  • To always work safely and in full compliance and on all occasions.
  • To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies.

Qualifications for the role

  • Strong medium/low voltage electrical distribution field experience.
  • Expertise within electrical protection Commissioning.
  • Completed electrical apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualification. i.e. C&G, HNC/D, BTech, Degree
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance procedures.
  • Strong background in the power sector with MV and LV product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer focus and timekeeping skills.
  • Good understanding of the current H&S legislation.
  • Valid driving licence in UK.
