Your role and responsibilities

  • Implement the defined digital solutions sales strategy in the UK market effectively, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations representing our Electrification Products including Relays, Automation Systems and solutions.
  • Execute this strategy and initiatives to achieve both qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the digital customer base growth such as OEM’s, Panel Builders, Consultants, End Users and EPC’s.
  • Responsible for achieving the sales budget of the Digital Solutions and the collation, submission and accuracy of forecasts.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships (including customers’ Digital stakeholders) to understand customer their needs, promoting customer their understanding of full ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing sales plans using company ABB authorized tools.

Qualifications for the role

  • 5+ years of experience in Medium and Low Voltage products and systems, Technical Sales Support with Distribution Automation.
  • Sound knowledge of industry protocols (such as IEC61850/IEC101/IEC104 - Modbus/Profibus/DNP3/IEC103), SCADA, ABB Product Portfolio and the Digital market.
  • Good knowledge of application & connectivity of Ethernet network systems and the requirements from a communications perspective.
  • A knowledge of protection & control fundamentals and standards applicable.
  • A HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Installations and Engineering.
  • Current Driving licenses valid in United Kingdom.
