An introduction to the role:

As Engineering Technician at LettUs Grow, you will be a crucial member of our Delivery Team, specifically focused on the installation and maintenance of our indoor farms. 
 

The position is full time, based in central Bristol and will benefit from training and external mentoring. As this role is primarily based in our workshop there will be some opportunity for remote working, but it will predominantly require in office attendance. 
 

You can expect to be delegated responsibility at an early stage and will have a real opportunity to progress as the company scales. This role is ideal for a friendly, motivated and hard working applicant who is keen to grow with an impact-led organisation.

Salary band:
£25,000 - £32,000 dependent upon experience alongside a benefits package designed to foster your personal and professional development.

Role responsibilities:

  • Undertaking maintenance and implementing improvements at our R&D sites in Bristol and customer sites across the UK, with the aim to take on responsibility for the stability of our R&D sites.
  • Working closely with the product development and delivery teams to assist in the assembly and production of Aeroponic Rolling Benches.
  • Working closely with the product development and R&D teams to prototype and test the next iteration of LettUs Grow's aeroponic technology. 
  • Testing to ensure all equipment meets LettUs Grow’s quality standards.

What you need:

  • Experience working hands on in a workshop.
  • Experience with assembly work.
  • The ability to work safely and responsibly.
  • To be a clear, considered and consistent communicator. 
  • A full clean UK driving licence. 
     

Also desirable:

  • Experience with electrical or electronics work.
  • Experience with plumbing. 
  • A passion for the controlled environment agriculture industry. 
  • The ability to be amenable and proactive when necessary.
