Job Description

As Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of the ISS Field Team on the Telefonica Contract.
The role is to achieve the safe, efficient, operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the Telefonica UK Portfolio (Retail & Technical Sites).

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide engineering task completion to both Equipment and Retail sites within region and support FM support teams, across the selected region within the UK portfolio
  • Support out-of-hours response in emergency situations and support engineering call out rota as and when necessary, as part of role, and to implement any necessary escalation procedures to Senior
  • Engineering Supervisor or manager as and when required
  • Site engineering representative ensuring all legal and statutory obligations are met.
  • Ensure self-delivery of all possible tasks within region
  • To complete PPMs and reactive work orders within given timescales and with accurate information on both Technical and Retail estate
  • Ensure compliance with H&S inductions and the supervision of contractors working on systems under the jurisdiction of ISS
  • Coordinate shut down of systems as and when required

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Air Con & Refrigeration Qualification Or City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2/ NVQ Level 2-3 Electrical 18th Edition IEE Regs (BS7671).
  • Hold current refrigerant gas handling certificate C&G2079-11 CAT1
  • Working knowledge of SFG20 Maintenance Specification
  • Other relevant training appropriate to work in a building maintenance environment e.g. first aid, IPAF, PASMA, Water Treatment Systems (L8), LMS, BMS etc.
  • Health and Safety Training within a similar environment.
  • Membership of a professional engineering body is desirable
  • Knowledge of Asset management / CAFM / use of PDA’s to manage workflow.
  • Ideally IoSH (Working Safely)
  • Full UK driving licence
