Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the execution of a diverse project portfolio (Energy Industries, Chemicals, Oil & Gas) and ensure that all project activities are performed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

The work model for the role is: hybrid from our St Neots, Daresbury, or Aberdeen locations {#LI-hybrid}

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries business in the UK.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• In collaboration with the PMO Manager, leading the project teams with clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
• Identifying, analyzing, and managing project risks, sharing lessons learned on a regular basis. Monitoring each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, risk management, and health, safety, and environment.
• Coordinating and tracking material procurement in collaboration with the supply chain.
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role

• Proven project management experience with track record of managing project scope, costs, schedule, and vendors/subcontractors.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have an engineering degree, technical degree, or project management certificate.
• Passion and willingness to develop further in project management.
• Willingness to travel and engage face to face with our customers.
