The Systems Engineering Team is a multi-disciplined team focused on system project execution, with projects being $multimillion in value and typically 18 months to 2 years in delivery. This is your chance to work with multiple product lines in a highly customer facing position, the Systems Engineers are the first point of contact for customers. The product lines involved are predominantly mechanical in nature, but also involve aspects of process (chemical) engineering and control system (electrical) engineering.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring that overall system design for an integrated production system fully satisfies the contractual requirements of the customer, meets all functional specifications, and complies with Company standards. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the role has a significant impact on projects in terms of revenue, customer satisfaction and potential bookings.

Candidate profile:

• Previous project experience ideally within low volume high value engineered products.
• Demonstrable experience of working with external customers.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• An accomplished presenter.
• Ability to create process flows and work on design of systems.
• Ability to create and check / approve documentation and schematics.
• Engineering Degree – ideally Mechanical but given the diversity of the role, Chemical, Electrical, or similar are also considered
• Knowledge of HAZOP and HAZIDs desirable.
